My Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and tailored to each individual's unique goals, growth, and learning style. I draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and counseling frameworks, utilizing strength-based, solution-focused, mindfulness, and trauma-informed methodologies. I view therapy as a collaborative process; clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to guide, build upon what is already working, and help translate those skills into other areas of life. I value reciprocal communication and feedback in sessions and prioritize creating a comfortable environment where clients feel heard and supported.
I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental environment, including individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. In our sessions, all people feel seen, heard, and respected. My goal is to help clients build insight, resilience, and confidence as they move toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and authentic.

I work with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, ADHD, relationship concerns, and parenting challenges.
Although I see clients of all ages, I have extensive experience working with adolescents and emerging adults. I believe therapy should feel as stress-free, accessible, and comfortable as possible. I strive to meet clients where they are to create a supportive therapeutic experience.
When working with couples, I focus on exploring communication styles, attachment patterns, und shared values. I help partners recognize unhelpful patterns, build practical relationship skills, and strengthen emotional connection and trust, to foster deeper understanding and more secure bonds.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy slowing down and recharging with my three cats, who keep life entertaining and grounded. I also enjoy training in martial arts, snowboarding, spending meaningful time with friends and loved ones, and getting outside whenever I can.
