LGBTQIA+ Process Group
This teletherapy process group is designed for queer adults seeking personal growth and improved relationships. Meeting virtually on Thursdays at 6pm for one hour each week, the group provides a safe, trauma-informed, and intersectionality-aware space for members to explore emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Participants learn distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills while gaining self-awareness and insight through shared experiences and feedback. The group accepts various insurance plans, with a $25 per meeting fee for those without coverage and limited sliding scale options available. By focusing on interpersonal dynamics and accountability, members can foster meaningful personal growth in a supportive environment. Group starts June 26th.
DBT & Art Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop effective coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, build resilience, and improve relationships. Our DBT & Art Therapy Group offers a unique space where healing meets creativity, combining DBT techniques with expressive art therapy. Led by Eme, a provisionally licensed art therapist. Through dynamic learning and creative exploration, participants will confront negative thought patterns, cultivate coping skills, and embark on a shared healing journey. Ideal alongside individual therapy, this group supports those navigating overwhelming emotions, anxiety, PTSD, impulsive behavior, self-injury, suicidal ideation, substance use, eating disorders, trauma, and relationship challenges. This group meets in-person on Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm at our Logan Square office. Group ends June 19th.
